Who calls us in north Brevard
The commonest call here. Ground bought as an investment or a future build, never walked, and the first job is simply seeing what is on it.
North Brevard has a lot of block that has not been in production for years. The rows are still there under it and a machine takes the rest off quickly.

What moves the day count
The rate follows the machine rather than the size of the stem, which catches people out: the dedicated mulcher costs more than the excavator even though the excavator takes bigger timber and pulls roots. Transport is the cost of getting the bigger two machines to you and is separate from hauling material away, which is quoted per job.

Mims is unincorporated, so Brevard County rules apply here rather than a city code, and land being developed is treated differently from an established homesite.
What is protected depends on the species and the size of the trunk, and whether the parcel is a single family homesite or land being developed. On block that has been in agricultural classification the rules that apply are often not the residential tree rules at all, which is worth establishing before anything else.
Tell us what you want gone and what you want kept when you send photographs. If the parcel backs onto protected land or runs toward the lagoon marsh, say so early, because that is a different office and a different answer.

It is not too small, but it will still be quoted as a machine day because that is how the machine comes. If there is other work on the parcel worth doing while it is there, that is the time to mention it.
